2016 UEFA Europa League final

On the 18th of May the 2016 UEFA Europa League Final will take place at St. Jakob-Park in Basel, Switzerland between Liverpool and Sevilla. This is the last match of the annual championship, previously known as the UEFA Cup, which has been organised by UEFA since 1971.

Sevilla FC is the most successful club in the history of this competition, with four titles, after winning the two most recent tournaments.

The winners will compete for the 2016 UEFA Super Cup against the winner of the 2015-2016 UEFA Champions League. They will also qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League.
